Jasper’s Watermelon Caprese

Ingredients for 4-6 Servings

  • 3 Cups
    Seedless watermelon, sliced
  • 1 Cup
    Fresh mozzarella ball, sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons
    Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Balsamic glaze (or reduction)
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, torn or left whole

Method

  1. Arrange the watermelon slices on a large platter. Slice mozzarella. Tuck the sliced mozzarella between the watermelon pieces, then scatter fresh basil leaves on top.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over everything, followed by the balsamic glaze and cut with sea salt.
