Ingredients for 4-6 Servings

    large mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1 cup
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4th cup
    grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4th cup
    sour cream
  • 1/2 cup
    breadcrumbs
  • 2
    cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method

  1. Fire up the grill to medium heat (around 375°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, sour cream, breadcrumbs, garlic, olive oil, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture.
  4. Place mushrooms on a piece of heavy-duty foil or in a grill-safe pan. Close the grill lid and cook for around 15 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is melted and golden.
  5. Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
